Pilot Butte Challenge online registration

This year the Challenge is Saturday, 9/24/2014 and, because there is a limit of 100 participants, please register early if you want to participate.

The new Pilot Butte App

This was easier than expected. The new Pilot Butte app is available on Google Play. Just search for "Pilot Butte" and it should be the first app to come up. You'll see the familiar walking thumbs up logo. Just install it on your Android smartphone as you would any other app. When you select a function, please remember that on many you need to scroll the screen down a bit to get to the info you're looking for. Please let us know if this meets your needs and if there are other things you'd like to see it do.

I'm trying to figure out how to make a similar app for the iphone. As you might expect, Apple isn't nearly as cool as Android. For example, they charge $99 per year just to list the app AND you can't do it on a PC (you have to be using a MAC). By contrast, Android charges a one-time fee of $25 and they don't care what computer you use. It's like day and night. I'm thinking we see how popular this becomes, and refine it a bit, before we get too involved with iphone apps.
